Memories are Resistance!

In 2023, in honor and commemoration of the life, work, and legacy of my son, murdered Afro-Indigenous land defender Muriyd "Two Clouds" Williams, I began Stand with Two Clouds Week during the last days of May and first days of June. The goal was to inspire and teach others how to live in love and action by serving those in need.

That was three years ago.

Since then, I have gotten more diligent and intentional in how I nurture and guide the Mission by building themes. In 2024, "Stand with Two Clouds and Save the World" focused on environmental stewardship. "Those Who Can... Lead!" was all about structuring sound leadership the following year, and this year, "Memories are Resistance!" reminds us of the importance of fighting against erasure of all sorts.
